Singapore Deep-Tech Alliance

The Singapore Deep Tech Alliance operation launched in 2022 with the support of HighTechXL. SDTA brings together public and private stakeholders to support innovators developing emerging cutting-edge solutions to address the world’s most difficult sustainability issues.

SDTA empowers founders to rapidly build, validate and scale startups leveraging technologies designed for the energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and semiconductor industries.

Singapore is a favorable location for the incubation of the next generation of deep-tech gamechangers.

Communities and Events

HighTechXL continuously engages with other communities within our ecosystem to further strengthen Brainport’s position as the center of Europe’s deep-tech hub. This includes launching the InspiringFifty Deep Tech female community and participating in Fe+male Tech Heroes events, TU/e Contest and SensUs student competitions and delivering keynotes and participating on panels and juries for regional, national and international startup events.

Board

You can’t build deep-tech ventures without deep tech. Our tech scouting team assesses technologies from research institutions and tech companies, and, if interesting, presents them to our Discovery Board for evaluation.

Our tech experts assess the technology on key categories, including maturity, IP status and application.

Once the Discovery Board gives the green light, technologies go to our tech pool and on to co-founders who want to start a venture.
