What better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than at SheCanXL! Join us for an inspiring day to celebrate and empower women in the tech industry. 

♀ HighTechXL, Fe+male Tech Heroes and Expat Spouses Initiative are joining forces to “Inspire Inclusion” – the theme for International Women’s Day 2024 – offering you a nurturing environment where you can learn, ask questions and be inspired.

Throughout the half-day event, participants will engage in discussions and workshops aimed at personal and professional development.

What’s Happening at SheCanXL:

• 12:00-12:45: Welcome Lunch – Kick off the event with a lunch where you can interact with other attendees
• 12:45-13:15: Keynote Conversation – Join Hilde de Vocht from Fe+male Tech Heroes and Amrita Singh from SMART Photonics as they discuss overcoming challenges and achieving success in tech.
• 13:15-13:30: Break – A moment to refresh and prepare for the workshops.
• 13:30-14:30: Workshop Session – Choose between “Applying Design Principles to Everyday Life” by Serena Caracchi and Moyra McManus from ASML,  “Amplify Yourself and Others” with Selma Oskam from TwoSpring Consultancy and Esther Peeks from HighTechXL, or “Storytelling 101: good stories compel people to change” by Robin van Scheijndel from HighTechXL.

• 14:30-14:45: Break – Time to recharge and network.
• 14:45-15:45: Workshop Session 2 – Dive into “The Body Language of Success” with Frank Smallegange, focusing on enhancing your non-verbal communication skills.
• 15:45-16:00: Break – Another opportunity to refresh and connect.
• 16:00-16:45: Panel & Q&A – Engage with our panel of experts: Anitha, co-founder of Senergetics; Karim El Oteify, DE&I Oracle; and Toam Jaber, Investment Manager at DeepTechXL, moderated by Esther Peeks. The panel aims to explore real stories of resilience, authenticity, and the transformative power of staying true to oneself in the business world.
• 16:45-18:00: Closing & Networking Drinks – Conclude the day with an open networking session, fostering new connections and opportunities.

Anitha is a committed professional with a strong background in Microelectronics, holding a master’s degree in the field. Her eight-plus years in academia allowed her to develop her passion for technology. Currently, as the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Senergetics, she applies her expertise and skills to drive innovation and technological progress in the industry, contributing significantly to the field.Karim El Oteify is a multifaceted entrepreneur known for his advocacy for diversity, equity and inclusion. With roots in Cairo, he has made the Netherlands his home over the past five years.
He’s renowned for advocating neuro-inclusive spaces and pushing for diversity and representation in tech. His work spans significant projects like “Diverse Leaders in Tech” by Techleap.nl and ErasmusX at Erasmus University Rotterdam, highlighting his commitment to blending community-driven and tech-powered innovation in education.
