Incooling: Control Engineer Intern

During your internship at Incooling, you will be part of the team developing the next-generation cooling systems for the data centre industry. You will support the development of the control system that integrates our cooling system with the server. You will also support the verification of the controller and debugging of the embedded software.  

The assignment’s exact scope and duration can be determined and further discussed based on the student’s availability and skills.  

What do we require from you?

You are a student in Systems and Control,  Electrical Engineering, Automation or similar fields. It is preferred that you are in your final year of your Master’s or Bachelors. You will need to have some essential experience with microcontrollers, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Brushless DC motor drivers, and some basic understanding of computer architecture and its signals.

At Incooling, we are trying to cool down the planet one server at a time, so that you will need some solid understanding of heat transfer and thermodynamics.

This position is right for you if you are:

  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
  • Have a “Can do attitude.”
  • Able to work independently
  • Share the company mission

It would also be cool if you:

  • Are fluent in Dutch
  • Are familiar with the Data Centre industry or cooling in general
  • Are a last year student
