The Problem

Manual dispensing in nursing homes and hospitals is slow, paper-based, and highly error-prone. Similar-looking boxes, staff shortages, and lack of digital tools lead to an estimated 40–45% dispensing error rate. The Solution

Bosch has developed an innovative hardware/software system that automates and digitalizes the medication process. A compact 160×80 cm workstation combining mechatronics, software, and computer vision to deliver safe, accurate, and traceable medication dispensing. Key features include:
