Kim Grimpe has almost 15 years of experience as a PR and communications consultant. She was a partner at an agency in The Hague where she worked for clients like Microsoft, Dexia, Allianz and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2013 she started her own business serving clients such as EY and the trustees of DSB Bank in bankruptcy. She has served as a media trainer, spokesperson or strategic advisor for many CEOs, politicians, athletes, and other specialists. Her clients come from numerous lines of business. On top of that, she has specific expertise in financial litigation communication and technology PR. She holds a masters degree in Speech Communication, Argumentation, and Rhetoric.
Kim likes complexity. No matter how complex the product or case is, the story can always be made simple. And to Kim, that is where the challenge lies.
The HighTechXL story couldn’t be told without the stories of the teams that are part of it. Kim prepares the teams for media interviews and helps them identify newsworthy stories within their teams and businesses. She has been devoted to sharing the HighTechXL story since the beginning, helping it to become probably the best-covered accelerator program in the Netherlands.
Kim was raised in Eindhoven in a Philips-family. She moved to Amsterdam 20 years ago and no, she will never move back 🙂 – but is happy to be reunited with a part of her heart that is always waiting for her down South.
Kim speaks Dutch, English and German.
